How to Install python-h5py software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-h5py software package provides h5py is a general-purpose Python interface to hdf5, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-h5py

python-h5py is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-h5py package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-h5py *
